Weight change this week: + 2.1 pounds
Total loss: 20.8 pounds
Lowest weight after surger was 196 pounds Feb. 2013
I have not done a video this week yet but may later in the week or today possibly if the weather gets better.

Updates from the week
- Cooler Weather has allowed us to open the windows some evenings
- In our binge watching, we are finally at season 4 of The Walking Dead
- I got to spend time with some family that I have not seen in a very long time
- FBA and EBAY have definitely picked up (Thanks 4th Quarter)
- I've been loving snapchat , with my girls from high school and a few local friends
- List more on Ebay
- Head to TN for Thanksgiving
- Get out and WALK or RIDE MY BIKE
- Spend more time with family.

Weekly Update 11/2/2014 (Video)
Another weekly update. Down just a smidge this week (211 vs 213 from last week)
It's getting cooler here for the time being (down in the high 40s over night!) which is unusual for Florida. Vic made stew yesterday and we stayed in watching The Walking Dead ...perfect home body day! :)
I'd write more but TWD awaits me..lol See you next week!

Goals ...let's do this! (VIDEO)
If the video isn't coming up, here's my week in a nut shell. I went back to my lap band doctor. I had not been back since May 2013. He did not give me a fill or too much of a lecture but we did set some goals and talked about what it will take to get me to USE my tool instead of just eating foods that I know will slip right thru my band. I'm going back in December and the goal is to be back down to at least 200 if not lower! :)

Easy Breakfast Recipe
I was looking around on Pinterest for easy lap band friendly recipes and came across this one.
Here is my version.
Egg White Muffins
Makes 12 muffins (2 eggs each)
Ingredients:
1 carton of egg whites or 24 egg whites.
Options:
Baby spinach
chopped onion
chopped ham
shredded cheese
Directions:
-Preheat oven to 350 degrees
-Choose ingredients you prefer to use and maybe mix it up, so you have something different every day. chop if necessary.
-Spray pan
-Add chopped ingredients to each cup
-Add 1/3 cup liquid egg whites or 2 egg whites per cup
-Bake for 30 minutes.
-Immediately remove and let cool on a rack. Once cool, place 2 in a ziplock bag with no air to keep them all week in the fridge. In the morning, remove from bag and heat in microwave for 1 minute and Enjoy.

Oct 8 2014 Update
I finally called and made the appointment to go back and see my lapband doctor. I have not been back since May of 2013 I think. I was so discouraged and felt like my doctor was not very nice or understanding about my stall at the time , and losing my dad.
I guess I showed him, I gained even more and stopped getting fills. lol
I'm getting ready to celebrate 2 years with my band (Oct 15) and it's about freakin time that I get back on track and use my tool as it was intended (I type this after having b'day cake and milk duds..ugh!)
My appointment isn't until later in the month so hopefully I'll drop a few pounds before then . I'm doing Friday weigh in's on my banded in florida facebook page and I've gained 2 lbs since I started that...wrong direction girly! Instead of focusing on the weight Ive been obsessed with cute socks that I wear each Friday. Epsy, Forever 21 and Ebay have been great in finding adorable socks.

Happy October!
I am up at four in the morning so figured I'd fill some time with catching up on my blogs.
Today is October 1st! Vic's b'day is today. This is a birthday month for both of us plus three of our four dogs. It's a full on Libra house! :)
October also is my lapband anniversary. I've now had the band for two years (actually on the 15th it will be two years)
Stats: I started at 234, today I weigh in at 210 , my goal is 135-150. I am only 5'1"

September 7 2014
Three months since my last update. I still have not figured out how to get blogger to change things over to my new email address so I'm not over here very often anymore.Really sucks.
It's been almost two years since my lap band surgery. I am no where near where I thought I would be on my weight. I started off around 235 lbs. By now I wanted to be 100 lbs down from that but because of my poor choices I am only down 22-25 lbs. I stopped going to my lap band doctor over a year ago so I have not had any fills or unfills. My insurance changed and those visits are no longer covered. I have not called to find out what the cost would be to keep going. I'm pretty embarrassed to even go back since I know that I am not keeping to the program.
I know that I can eat more than I should. The doctor wanted me to have 3-4 bites and that would be it but I eat more than that with some foods. It's probably about accurate with steak/chicken etc. But I'm still over doing it and then losing it because I pushed past the amount I should have eaten. I have no problem with sweets going down and staying down...so I eat way too many of those.
I still do not miss soda at all. I do miss certain foods but not like a mourning miss ..just a "Oh it sure would be nice to have a hamburger with the bun"! I pretty much stay away from bread all together. I can do pizza if it's very thin crust and cooked very well so it's not doughy at all. We do meat lovers pizza at least once a week. I have a few pieces..nothing like the old days of polishing off a large pizza almost myself.
I went walking last month with some friends. Made it two miles. I was sore for a week after. I really hoped that I would keep it up and do it every week with them at least once a week but alas I havent.
I started working four days a week at our Venice office. They have a kitchen and cook lunch almost everyday, or go out for lunch. And there are always sweets! I've noticed the scale slipping back up since I started working there. I was down to 209 when I started working there and now it's a steady 212. WILL POWER where are you?!
I am not blaming anyone but myself. I need to get my butt in gear and be more motivated. I go to bed each night with big plans on what I will do the next day..only to wake up and repeat what I've been doing.
Ok enough of this debbie downer post. Aren't you glad I updated?? lol
Goals...eat better, eat less, cut out sugar, exercise!!

Happy Friday!
I fell a bit behind on my posting . We've been keeping busy with the work around the house and getting ready for the girls weekend coming up. Nothing going on with the weight loss. Still junking it up with my diet and getting zero exercise.
I had to do the worst task in the world last week (try on swimsuits) I was totally depressed and sickened by what I saw in the mirrors trying on all the suits. Think anyone will mind if I swim in my clothes? Ugh!
I keep telling myself that "tomorrow" I'll eat better, "tomorrow" I'll start walking again, or biking, or going to the gym. How do you get out of a rut?
I'm at work and can't access all my pictures as of late so check out the instagram feed on the right hand side of the page for updated pictures :)

April 21 2014 After Easter Update
Happy Easter Monday!
We had a nice long weekend and got more done around the house. Vic got the front wall primed on one side (the side that you see from the street).She also pressure washed the drive way and carport area-it looks so much better!! We've made some decisions about the plants that we are going to put out front. I was gifted a chocolate cherry tomato plant and made my first earth box and replanted it.
We had our 2nd annual Easter breakfast with Vic's son at Burgundy Square Cafe. I had much better luck this year and kept my egg and bacon down.
The scale has not changed this week..still at 209.
I've had a little more candy this week due to Easter (FAIL). Vic has cooked quite a bit but we did go out a few times for the first time in weeks (Longhorn Monday, Pizza delivered one evening and then Burgundy Square for breakfast) Other than the pizza, I think we've made wise choices when we did go out. I usually stick to soup because it works. Tonight I'm making chili.
My mom gave me a desk yesterday that I'll be using as a vanity. I'm pretty excited that I'll have a place to store my make up and a place to sit and put it on . I'm so blind that it's hard to use the bathroom mirror because I'm too far away from it. The desk mom gave me is pretty narrow so it will work better for me.
Also last week I tried fried green tomatos for the first time.Probably not the best thing for me, but I had 3..they were delicious! I am not a fan of tomatos but these were very tasty.

Happy Monday!
I don't have a ton to report since my last blog. We've been working around the house getting ready to buy it next month. Vic pressure washed the front yesterday, I cleaned windows and carpeting. Looking forward to planting some flowers and getting our new fence up.
Vic's been cooking more. We've (mostly Vic) stopped buying sweets so there is no "snack" or junk food in the house. It's worked very well for Vic, I think she's lost over 10 lbs since we started doing this almost two weeks ago. Me on the other hand can't get sugar/candy out of my brain. I've made stops at the drug store just to pick up Milk Duds or M&M's. The scale remains the same for me (209) I was hoping to be back to 200 the end of Feb and here it is the middle of April. No ones fault but my own.
I've not gone to my WLS doctor in a very long time. I should call and see what it will cost on my new insurance but I have not wanted to go back until I lost more weight because he's kind of rude when I go in and have gained.
I'm looking forward to a busy summer. I have a girls weekend coming up next month with ladies I've known since childhood. Then my step mother is coming over the 4th of July for a short visit. And let's not forget all of the babies! We have friends or family due in July, August, September and October! 2 girls, 1 boy and 1 still unknown. I am really looking forward to having some little ones in our lives...it's been far too long.
This is my attempt at sticking with weekly updates. I hope next week I am full of positive things to say and can be a little more inspirational to you and ME. :)

Happy Monday!
I slept with the headband in last night and woke up to wonderfully curly hair. I may not be thrilled with the scale these days but I am so loving my long hair. I don't think it's ever been this long .#stickingwiththepositive
I downloaded an app to map my walking yesterday. Vic and I took the littles around the block so was able to see exactly how it works. I hope to do a little more each day.
I saw the scales jump up to the 210-211 mark last week. This is totally unacceptable for me. I will be back down under 200 by the end of February if not sooner. I've come too far to get right back up there on that stupid scale.

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
It's very chilly here in FL today but I can't say much since the rest of the country is freezing and so much colder than our 34 degrees...at least we are suppose to warm up to the 50s today.
I must admit I enjoy digging out the sweatshirts and sweaters since we only get to dress this way a few times a year.
We had such a fantastic time bringing in the new year with our friends at Butchlesque but then spent the next few days in the hospital trying to figure out if Vic was having a heart attack. Today is another trip back to the doctor..I sure hope this isn't a sign of what 2014 will hold.
I'll update more later. I'm really trying to work out a blog schedule .
